The Department of Urban Design and Planning is home to one of the oldest planning programs in the United States. We offer an undergraduate program in Community, Environment and Planning; Master and Doctorate Degrees in Urban Planning; a Master of Science in Real Estate; and a Master of Infrastructure Planning and Management.

Undergraduate

Individuals seeking an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree in Community, Environment and Planning should consider the Bachelor of Arts (BA: CEP) program, an award winning, cross-disciplinary program, housed in the Department of Urban Design and Planning on the Seattle campus of the University of Washington.

CEP has gained distinction as a model alternative program within a traditional university setting by providing and supporting students with highly personalized, active, and relevant educational experiences.

Graduate

At the graduate level, the Department of Urban Design and Planning offers an accredited professional Master of Urban Planning (MUP), a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE), an accredited online Master of Infrastructure Planning and Management (MIPM), and an Interdisciplinary PhD in Urban Design and Planning (PhD: UDP).
